Jason Maxwell, Life Coach

Men's, Blue-Collar & Workplace Life Coaching in St. Albert & Edmonton

Sometimes you don't need someone to tell you what's wrong. You need someone who understands where you're coming from and can help you figure out where you want to go next.

I've spent more than 20 years working in blue-collar environments, including supervisory and management roles. I've experienced the pressures that can come with work, relationships, family responsibilities, career decisions, and trying to keep everything together.

I believe that meaningful change starts with an honest conversation, a clear understanding of what you want, and practical steps to move forward.

My coaching style is straightforward, supportive, and focused on action. I'm not here to tell you how to live your life. I'm here to help you gain perspective, identify what matters to you, and take the next step.

Practical Life Coaching for Men

Men don't always feel comfortable talking about what's going on in their lives.

You may have spent years being the person others rely on. You may be used to solving problems, getting things done, and pushing through when things get difficult.

But sometimes pushing through isn't enough. You may be feeling stuck in your career, struggling in a relationship, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or wondering what you actually want from the next chapter of your life.

Life coaching provides a space to step back, talk openly, and look at what's really going on without judgment.  You don't have to be in crisis. You simply need to know that something needs to change.

Coaching for Blue-Collar Workers & Professionals

My background gives me an understanding of the realities that can come with blue-collar work, trades, supervision, management, and demanding workplace environments.

I understand that work isn't just about a paycheque. It can be connected to identity, pride, responsibility, relationships, family, and your sense of purpose.

Coaching can help you navigate:

  • Workplace stress and pressure

  • Career decisions and changes

  • Leadership and supervisory challenges

  • Work-life balance

  • Difficult workplace relationships

  • Confidence and communication

  • Motivation and direction

  • Moving into a new stage of your career

  • Deciding what you want after years of putting work first

You don't have to figure out your next move on your own. Sometimes an outside perspective can help you see possibilities that are difficult to see when you're in the middle of it.

What We Can Work On

Coaching is tailored to you and what you want to accomplish. We may work together on:

Career & Work

Finding direction, making career decisions, navigating workplace challenges, or figuring out what comes next.

Relationships
Improving communication, understanding relationship challenges, and becoming more intentional about the relationships that matter.

Stress & Balance
Managing competing responsibilities and finding a healthier balance between work, family, relationships, and yourself.

Confidence & Personal Growth
Building confidence, understanding your strengths, and becoming more comfortable with who you are and where you're going.

Life Transitions
Navigating divorce, relationship changes, career changes, becoming an empty nester, retirement, or other significant transitions.

Goals & Accountability
Turning ideas into action, breaking larger goals into manageable steps, and having someone in your corner to help you stay accountable.

What Makes My Approach Different

I believe coaching should be practical and real.

My approach is:

Straightforward – We talk openly and honestly about what's happening.

Practical – We focus on strategies and steps you can actually use in your everyday life.

Non-judgmental – You can talk about what's going on without worrying about being judged.

Goal-focused – We identify what you want and work toward meaningful change.

Accountability-based – Having someone in your corner can make it easier to follow through.

Most importantly, I meet you where you are. You don't have to become someone else. The goal is to help you become more intentional about the person and life you want to create.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

You don't have to wait until things fall apart before asking for support.

If you're feeling stuck, looking for direction, or ready to make a change, life coaching can give you the space, perspective, and accountability to move forward.

Whether you're navigating work, relationships, family responsibilities, or simply asking yourself “What's next for me?”, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Sometimes you just need someone in your corner.
